LOCATION -
Start/Finish A & P Showgrounds, Clevedon, Auckland.

DATE - Saturday, 22 January 2011

TIME - 110km - staggered starts from 9:00AM, 30km - 9:45am

DISTANCE - 110KM & 30KM

REGISTRATION - Friday afternoon from 4:00pm - 7:00pm or Saturday morning 6:30am - 8:30am

course SUPPORT - On course mobile bike mechanic, paramedics and sag wagon.

DRINK STATIONS - There will be 1 water drink station on the 110km course located just before the Kaiaua Coast (approximately at the 55km mark).  The 30km ride has no drink stations.

POST EVENT - There will be entertainment, Allpress coffee and food vendors at the post event festival area.

ENTRIES CLOSE - Wednesday, 19th of January 2011 at 12noon.  Late Entry fee will then apply.

LATE ENTRIES - Will be taken up until and including race morning.  An addtional $20 late fee will be applicable.


NB: The combined field limit of both the 110km & 30km, 2011 SRAM Tour de Ranges event is 2,000 cyclists.







The 2011 event will offer an exclusive SRAM Tour de Ranges event jersey designed by New Zealand's leading cycling apparel brand, Tineli.

First Tier Sports Productions and Tineli, in association with event sponsors SRAM, are please to unveil the 2011 SRAM Tour de Ranges jersey.  Jersey's are valued at $129.

We do appreciate that many of you are competitive within your age group, so we will be acknowleding the top finishers within each age group section for the 110km event.

Age group categories for the 110km event are: Junior Under 19, Open 19-39 and Vets 50+ (age taken as on race day, January 22rd, 2011).





A yellow, green, white and polka dot Jersey will be presented to the top over all rider, male and female at the respective spots.

Yellow is for the first male and female across the finish line.




Green is for the first male and female at the green sprint ace point which will be at the 70km mark, just outside the Waharau Regional Park entrance way.



Polka Dot is for the first male and female at the top of Snake hill above Kawakawa Bay.



White is for the first Junior Under 19 male and female across the finish line.

 

Black is for the first Vet Rider male and female 50 years of age and older across the finish line.
